Welcome to U7+

U7+ presidents returned to Paris for this year’s Summit, labeled as an official G7 event. Hosted by École Polytechnique, Sciences Po, and Université Paris Cité, 37 Universities from 14 countries gathered for two days to discuss critical challenges and opportunities aligned with the Social Role of Universities.

The U7+ Alliance of World Universities has been officially recognized as a G7 Engagement Group, marking an important recognition of its work alongside the G7. The G7-labeled U7+ Presidential Summit will take place in Paris on April 14–15.

The Presidential Delegates of the U7+ Alliance met on January 26–27 in Sendai, Japan, at the invitation of Tohoku University.
