Welcome to U7+

Ashesi University hosted the 2026 edition of the U7+ Student Challenge in Ghana, bringing together students from across the U7+ Alliance for a week of collaboration, innovation, and intercultural exchange around the theme: “Global Anchor Institutions: Harnessing University Networks for Local Resilience.”

U7+ presidents returned to Paris for this year’s Summit, labeled as an official G7 event. Hosted by École Polytechnique, Sciences Po, and Université Paris Cité, 37 Universities from 14 countries gathered for two days to discuss critical challenges and opportunities aligned with the Social Role of Universities.

The U7+ Alliance of World Universities has been officially recognized as a G7 Engagement Group, marking an important recognition of its work alongside the G7. The G7-labeled U7+ Presidential Summit will take place in Paris on April 14–15.
