The U7+ is led by two governing bodies:
- the Presidential Steering Committee
- the Bureau.
These bodies are headed by an elected Chair, the Keio University, from 2025 and until 2028.
A General Secretariat is responsible for coordinating and organizing work within the Alliance. It is hosted by Université Côte d’Azur since July 2024 and until July 2027.
